About MercyLink Care

MercyLink Care is an independent provider of care across the UK for elder persons in their own home. We have the ability to offer all types of care and to provide the most suitable care for the individual.

We take the time to get to know all our service users – their history, likes and dislikes, in order to build up a picture of them. Once we get to know a person we can work with them to design care and support around their needs so that they remain firmly in charge of everything, ensuring person-centred care.

We solely deliver care services to a large and growing number of private / self-funding clients, clients that are eligible for full funds and government funding clients.

We provide:

  • Domiciliary Care
  • Live-in or 24-hour Home Care
  • Dementia Care
  • Respite Care
  • Personal Assistant Service
  • Blitz Cleaning
Staff Sourcing

Our staff sourcing division provides nurses (RMN, RGN & RNLD), support workers, care managers team leaders and social workers to hospitals, nursing homes and day centres at a very competitive rate.

We are available to provide cover at any time of the day. We know how difficult it is for our clients to work when they are short staffed, so we promise to call you back in less than 15 minutes with a positive answer. Our experienced and dedicated nurses administer medication, update care plans, engage patients in therapeutic activities, write reports, conduct hand overs etc.

Our care assistance /support workers assist clients with:

  • Help with getting up and going to bed
  • Assisting to wash and dress
  • Assisting with personal hygiene
  • Skincare/Hair care – bathing, showering, shaving
  • Feeding/Mealtime Support
  • Continence management
  • Companionship – day and night sittings
  • Taking service users for recreational activities
Continuous Training

Our focus on training and development leads to a continuity of staff which ensures that our teams are knowledgeable, skilled and familiar with our clients.

At MercyLink Care, we have a proactive approach towards Training with a dedicated team of in-house trainers supported by external specialists. We provide quality interactive sessions which will provide staff with the necessary skills and qualifications to be confident in providing high quality care to our service users.

We provide a positive learning environment to enable staff to meet and share good practice whilst participating in training. Staff mandatory training is required to be up-to-date every year and this is ensured and taken seriously with MercyLink Care.

Professional Carers

We believe Staff’s enthusiasm, innovation and commitment enable us to achieve and maintain our high standards of quality care.

Our care teams receive continuous support from their Care Manager and/or Supervisors and have access to a wealth of training and development opportunities. We are proud of our staff and always recognise the efforts that our team make and the impact they have upon the lives of our Service Users and their families.

Every Staff at MercyLink Care including our Management, Administration and Care are well vetted through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) formally known as the CRB checks. Their skills, knowledge and understanding on their relevant field are tracked and we ensure that they are up-to-date with the relevant legislation on their Duty of Care.

Service Level Guarantee

MercyLink Care is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our Management and Administration System, Policies and Procedures have been rigorously checked and shown to be of quality standard. In order to keep this standard, MercyLink Care has to demonstrate each year that it is maintaining quality throughout the company and in its service delivery. In order to maintain quality we conduct regular audits of our services by senior managers and external agencies such as local authorities, the NHS and the Care Quality Commission.

In addition, we conduct regular satisfaction surveys in order to gain feedback from clients and/or their representatives, families, professionals and staff. These surveys are used to inform decision making bodies throughout MercyLink Care and we take feedback, both good and bad, very seriously.
